Overview

Flosum's Backup & Archive app provides a streamlined solution for archiving Salesforce data, ensuring secure long-term storage and protection of vital business records. The archiving process includes two automated stages:

1. Data Addition: Data is first archived within the Flosum app.
2. Data Deletion: Archived data is then removed from Salesforce.

Templates give you control over which objects to archive. You can run archives immediately or schedule them regularly. For detailed instructions on creating an Archive job, refer to the following article.

Retain This Object Feature

The Retain This Object functionality allows users to archive child records while maintaining the integrity of parent records. This feature is especially useful for archiving attachments while keeping associated Cases or Opportunities intact. For additional details, refer to the following article.
