{% hint style="info" %}

* **Flexibilität beim Zusammenführen:** Branches können über Pull Requests in andere Branches integriert werden.
* **Feature-Entwicklung:** Entwickeln Sie neue Funktionen, ohne die Hauptentwicklungslinie zu stören.
* **Vorbereitung von Hotfixes:** Erstellen Sie dedizierte Branches für dringende Fehlerbehebungen in der Produktion.
* **Stabilisierung der Freigabe:** Verwenden Sie Release-Branches zum Testen und Stabilisieren des Codes vor der Bereitstellung.

{% step %}

### Branch benennen

1. Klicken Sie auf **Branches** im linken Seitenleistenmenü.
2. Klicken Sie auf **Branch erstellen**.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="https://578823411-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FRpUu5iMlzMFAudyBvMOl%2Fuploads%2F25KCFh4LpcqkO5TszE2k%2FCreatingABranch-S01-01.png?alt=media&amp;token=57550e7c-1041-46b5-a02b-bdc1a8df1a13" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="https://578823411-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FRpUu5iMlzMFAudyBvMOl%2Fuploads%2FRmLhcKhFXvS3hWsPTUTd%2FCreatingABranch-S01-02.png?alt=media&amp;token=a2c2e363-9125-44b6-b7ef-85ccac322649" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

<table><thead><tr><th width="100.33331298828125">Branch</th><th>Verwenden, wenn</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Main</td><td>Neue Arbeit beginnen, die mit der Produktion abgestimmt ist.</td></tr><tr><td>Release</td><td>Ihre Arbeit sollte alle bereits zusammengeführten und für die Freigabe vorgesehenen Änderungen enthalten.</td></tr><tr><td>Feature</td><td>Zusammenarbeit mit einem anderen Entwickler, sodass Ihr Branch dessen laufende Änderungen übernimmt, statt ganz neu zu beginnen.</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. Klicken Sie auf die **Quellbranch** Dropdown-Menü.
2. Suchen oder durchsuchen Sie den gewünschten Quellbranch.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="https://578823411-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FRpUu5iMlzMFAudyBvMOl%2Fuploads%2FYuNixTUuGUD1xqcMG8hW%2FCreatingABranch-S02-01.png?alt=media&amp;token=8932ddf5-f806-4c1a-a459-2414ff7b4458" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Jira-Integration

* **Integration** - Das zu verwendende Jira-Konto.
* **Projekt** - Mit einem bestimmten Jira-Projekt verknüpfen.
* **Stories** - User Stories aus Jira an den Branch anhängen.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.flosum.com/devops/devops-de/code/branches-verwalten/einen-branch-erstellen.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
