Changing a Tenant Name

Overview

When a new tenant is created, it is assigned a random string of letters and numbers as its name. To make managing multiple tenants easier, assigning descriptive names can be very helpful. This guide walks you through the steps to change a tenant's name.

Changing the tenant name is optional; the default name can be used indefinitely.

Access Global Settings

  1. From any Flosum Cloud App, click the App Switcher icon at the top of the left sidebar menu.

  2. Click Global Settings.

  3. The Global Settings app will open in a new tab.

Global Settings can also be accessed by logging in directly via the Flosum Cloud Apps Login URL. See the following article for login instructions.

Change Name

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner.

  2. Click Change Tenant Name in the dropdown menu.

  3. Change the Tenant name textbox to the desired name.

  4. Click Change.

Log Out of All Flosum Cloud Apps

To ensure all Flosum Cloud Apps reflect the updated tenant name:

  1. Log out of any app you are currently using. Simply closing the app window or tab is not sufficient.

  2. If an app still shows the old tenant name, log out and log back in with the correct tenant name.
