# Managing a Connected App

## Overview
A Connected App lets you link your applications to Flosum Cloud Apps. After adding a Connected App to your account, you can manage it through the following actions:

## Managing A Connected App

### Access Global Settings
1. From any **Flosum Cloud App**, click the **App Switcher** icon at the top of the left sidebar menu.
2. Click **Global Settings**.
3. The **Global Settings** app will open in a new tab.

Global Settings can also be accessed by logging in directly via the Flosum Cloud Apps Login URL. See the following article for login instructions.

### Select a Connected App
1. Click **Connected Apps** from the sidebar menu.
2. Click the **Name** of the Connected App to edit.

### Disable Connected App
Disabling the Connected App means your applications will be unable to connect to Flosum Cloud Apps through this connection.
1. Click the **Actions** dropdown menu.
2. Click **Disable**.
3. Click **Confirm** in the Disable Connected App dialog box.
4. The Connected App **Status** is updated to **Disabled**.

### Enable Connected App
If a Connected App is disabled, you can re-enable it to allow access to Flosum Cloud Apps through the Connected App.
1. Click the **Actions** dropdown menu.
2. Click **Enable**.
3. Click **Confirm** in the Enable Connected App dialog box.
4. The Connected App **Status** is updated to **Active**.

### Regenerate Secret Key
You can create a new Secret Key for the Connected App.

If you create a new Secret Key, all clients connected to this app will be disconnected, and all authorizations will be removed. The clients will need to have the new Secret Key before they can connect again.

1. Click the **Actions** dropdown menu.
2. Click **Regenerate Secret**.
3. Click **Confirm** in the Regenerate Secret dialog box.
4. The **Client secret** has the new Secret Key.

### Delete Connected App
When you delete a Connected App, your applications will lose access to Flosum Cloud Apps via this connection. To restore connectivity, you must create a new Connected App.
1. Click the **Actions** dropdown menu.
2. Click **Delete**.
3. Click **Confirm** in the Delete Connected App dialog box.
4. The Connected App will be removed from the list.
