Creating a Network Access IP Range
Overview
The Network Access setting provides granular control over access to Flosum Cloud Apps by allowing you to define trusted IP address ranges. When configured, this security feature restricts all access to your Flosum Organization, permitting connections only from the specified IP ranges. This ensures that only authorized networks can access your Flosum environment.
Key Considerations:
Ensure all users who require access are covered by the configured IP ranges.
Verify that the ranges accommodate all office locations and approved remote work environments.
Review and update IP ranges regularly as your organization's network infrastructure evolves.
Remote and Travel Access
Users accessing Flosum while traveling or working remotely will have different IP addresses than those connecting from office locations. Consider implementing VPN solutions to provide consistent IP addresses for remote users, ensuring uninterrupted access while out of the office.
Network Error 500
If you receive a Network Error 500 when connecting your Salesforce org to Backup & Archive, make sure you include the following IP addresses for the region your Flosum tenant uses.
United States
3.20.76.2
18.224.75.98
Germany
3.125.87.81
18.199.42.135
Japan
18.176.22.236
54.238.106.128
Australia
13.237.137.32
54.66.210.123
Creating an IP Range
Create IP Range
You can specify an IP range using the standard dotted-decimal notation to encompass any number of addresses within the entire IPv4 space. Here are some valid range examples:
47.96.21.34
47.96.21.34
IP range includes only the IP address 47.96.21.34
47.96.21.0
47.96.21.100
IP range covering 0-100 of the 47.96.21 address space.
47.96.20.0
47.96.24.255
IP range covering all addresses in the 47.96.20 to 47.96.24 address space.
47.92.0.0
47.98.255.255
IP range covering all addresses in the 47.92 to 47.98 address space.
46.0.0.0
47.255.255.255
IP range covering all addresses in the 46 to 47 address space.
When creating an IP range without prior ranges, an error message will appear if your IP address is not included in the range. This precaution prevents you from blocking access to Flosum Cloud Apps from your current IP address.

Click Network Access from the sidebar menu.
Click Create.

Enter a descriptive name for the IP Range in the Name textbox.
Enter the first IP address in the Start IP address textbox.
Enter the last IP address in the End IP address textbox.
Click Create.

The new IP range will be listed in the Network Access list.
