New Features
Object-Level Backup History
Users can now view backup history for each object directly within the Salesforce org. Enhancements include:
Viewing and filtering of backed-up and archived records at the object level.
Search capability by record ID.
Streamlined visibility into historical record versions for all supported objects.
This provides clearer visibility into object-level data changes and supports faster investigation, verification, and audit workflows.

View Related Records for Specific Versions
The new related records viewer enables you to access the following details for any version of a record within your Salesforce org:
Users can view all related records across related objects.
Filters allow viewing only backed-up related records, only archived related records, or all related records.
Users can search related items by ID.
All relationships displayed reflect correct parent-child associations as they existed at the time of each version.
This supports more accurate data restoration and deeper contextual understanding of historical relationships.
Introduction of Global Settings App (formerly User-Pool)
The new Global Settings App replaces User-Pool for user management and serves as the central hub for managing:
Flosum Cloud Apps Licenses
Salesforce Connections
Flosum Cloud Apps Storage
Access and Security Management
Users and Permissions
The addition of Global Settings streamlines administration and prepares customers for future platform scalability.
Storage and Connections Migrated to Global Settings
Storage configurations and Salesforce org connections are now managed within the Global Settings app, rather than the Backup & Archive app. This update centralizes the management of these elements, making org connections and storage endpoints accessible across all Flosum Cloud applications.
Built-In SystemAdministrator Group and Role
Global Settings now includes:
A predefined SystemAdministrator role
An in-built SystemAdministrator group
This enhancement allows multiple users to obtain administrative access to the Backup & Archive app without requiring custom setup.
Predefined Role-Based Access for the B&A App
B&A access control now includes standardized roles:
Backup & Archive
Restore
Export
App Settings
These roles simplify permission assignment and help organizations maintain clear operational boundaries in multi-team environments.
Multi-Tenant Login Support
Global Settings now supports a new email-based login flow for multi-tenant environments, which allows users to:
Log in using their email address and select the tenant they want to access.
Continue to use tenant-name-based login, including SSO support.
This accommodates organizations managing multiple tenants.
Free Trial Availability
The Backup & Archive app now offers a 14-day free trial available directly from the Flosum website. Prospective users can activate and evaluate the application with no setup overhead, making it easier to evaluate the product on their own.
Improved User Experience in the Backup & Archive
Navigation has been simplified to provide easier access to key operations:
Backup and Archive, Restore, Search, and Export are always accessible.
Job execution requires fewer clicks and no scrolling.
Page layouts and workflow paths are simplified for improved user efficiency.

Enhancements
Enhanced Time Machine Component
The Time Machine component now:
Displays the backup date for each record version.
Shows all updates from the first backup to the latest.
Provides links to the corresponding backup jobs in the B&A app.
Time Machine now displays archived versions, including:
Full historical trail up to the final archived version
Links to the corresponding archive job
Time Machine: Related Records Enhancements
Additionally, a Related Records link is added to each version.
Users can view all related records associated with that specific version, including the correct historical parent-child relationships, even when ownership changes occurred.
Improved Tables and Record Visibility
Object tables and record tables now support a full-screen mode for large-volume viewing.
Full-screen mode can be exited using the escape key or the exit-full-screen icon.
Record tables now display up to 200 records with full search capabilities.
Import Backups Enhancements
Import-backups jobs now include:
Detailed logging for skipped objects and skipped records when required files or metadata components are unavailable.
Intelligent processing of AWS S3 sources to ensure unique record updates are imported from the backup files, even if duplicates exist in the backup files.
Full compatibility with composite backups, ensuring all historical record versions are imported, restorable, exportable, and visible in Time Machine.
Accurate reconstruction of relationships across multiple objects using the Salesforce org’s data model.
Support for Expired or Deleted Salesforce Orgs
Data stored in AWS S3 from expired or non-existent Salesforce organizations can now be imported into the B&A app. This feature ensures continued access to sandbox backups even after the source organization is decommissioned.
Restore Experience Improvements
The restore metadata screen now highlights filter chips when filters are applied to any object.
The Restore Data workflow has been updated to feature two clear steps, emphasizing the two-stage data restoration process.
Review Data: Retrieve the necessary data from the B&A app.
Run Restore: Execute the data restoration back into the Salesforce org.
Bulk API Performance Optimization
A major logic update improves the efficiency of handling the Bulk Batch API. This leads to quicker job completion and better use of the user-defined API quota.
Bug Fixes
Resolved archive job exception related to ContentVersion records.
Corrected an issue preventing successful backups from being executed on the last day of the month.
Fixed multiple issues resulting in metadata backup failures.
Fixed an issue where job overview information failed to load after switching tabs.
Corrected object visibility issues when creating an export request.
