# Removing an App from an Organization

##  Overview
The Global Settings app allows centralized management of which Flosum Cloud Apps are assigned to your Organizations. This article shows you how to remove an app from an Organization.

#### Data Loss Warning
When an app is removed from a Salesforce organization, all data associated with that app for that organization will be deleted. For instance, if the Backup & Archive app is removed, all backups, archives, and historical data related to that app will be lost. This could lead to the loss of information that is not available within the Salesforce org.

After removing an app from an Organization, ensure that any Roles with associated permissions are reviewed and updated accordingly.

### Access Global Settings
1. From any **Flosum Cloud App**, click the **App Switcher** icon at the top of the left sidebar menu.
2. Click **Global Settings**.
3. The **Global Settings** app will open in a new tab.

### Remove an App
1. Click **Organizations** from the left sidebar.
2. Click the **Three Vertical Dots** menu at the right end of the Organization you wish to remove an app from.
3. Click **Remove App**.
4. Click the **App** dropdown menu.
5. Select the **App** to remove.
6. To confirm app removal, enter the **Organization Name** in the textbox.

The **Organization Name** must be entered exactly as shown in the textbox label, including case sensitivity.

7. Click **Remove**.
8. Once removed, the organization will no longer list the removed app.
