# How to Start a Free Backup & Archive Trial
##  Overview
Flosum provides a free, fully functional 14-day trial of Backup & Archive, allowing you to evaluate its suitability for your organization's needs. To start the trial, register a Flosum Cloud App tenant, activate the Backup & Archive trial, and connect your Salesforce orgs. This guide walks you through all the necessary steps to begin your trial.

You can activate a 14-day free trial of Backup & Archive to test the product's features and determine whether it suits your organization. You can upgrade to a paid license at any time by contacting your Flosum Success Manager or submitting a case using the following link.

### Register New Tenant
Follow the instructions in the article below to register a new tenant. Once your new tenant is registered, complete the remaining steps on this page.

### Start Trial
1. Click **Home** on the left sidebar menu of **Global Settings**.
2. Click **Start Free Trial** for the **Backup & Archive** app.
3. This will start your 14-day free trial of Backup & Archive.

### Connect Org
To start using Backup & Archive with your Salesforce orgs, you must connect your orgs to Backup & Archive by completing the instructions in the following articles.

### Get Started With Backup & Archive
1. After adding a Salesforce org and assigning the Backup & Archive app, you can start using it.
2. Click the **App Switcher** icon at the top of the left sidebar menu.
3. Click **Backup & Archive**.
4. The **Backup & Archive** app will open in a new tab.

### (Optional) Assign Users
